I used to sketch when I was a bit younger but never got into shading, and now I’m learning that it is much harder than I previously thought. I think the biggest challenge so far is using the vine charcoal as I was expecting a real dark black color, but it seems to be more of a dark gray. This made it slightly more difficult to separate shades that we too similar between boxes.
